What you’ll be doing:

• Work as an Ophthalmic Scrub Practitioner, supporting consultants during a range of ophthalmic procedures.
• Assist with surgeries including cataracts, laser eye surgery, and retinal treatments.
• Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care throughout the surgical pathway.
• Work closely with the Theatre Manager and wider theatre team to ensure smooth and efficient theatre lists.
• Develop your specialist ophthalmic skills through ongoing training and hands-on experience.

What we’re looking for:

• Qualified Nurse or ODP, registered with the NMC or HCPC.
• Previous experience as a Scrub Practitioner; ophthalmology experience is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.
• An interest in specialising in ophthalmic surgery and developing your expertise in the field.
• A proactive team player who is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care.
