What you’ll be doing:

• Provide professional leadership and management across all theatres, endoscopy, and recovery services.
• Work closely with consultants and medical staff to ensure safe and effective ways of working, increasing theatre utilisation.
• Oversee the development and growth of the endoscopy service, aiming for JAG accreditation.
• Act as the Medical Devices Safety Officer, ensuring the safe management of all medical devices across the organisation.

What we’re looking for:

• Qualified RN (with current NMC registration) or Qualified Operating Department Practitioner (with current HPC registration).
• Significant senior experience in a multi-theatre environment, supporting complex surgical case loads.
• Proven management and leadership ability, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in quality improvement, audit, and standard setting, with a focus on patient safety.
