What you’ll be doing:
- Deliver safe, high-quality patient care across different stages of the perioperative pathway.
- Assist the theatre team by preparing operating theatres, equipment, and instrumentation.
- Develop your skills across Scrub, Anaesthetics, and/or Recovery while supporting a range of orthopaedic procedures.
- Monitor patients’ clinical condition and escalate concerns appropriately to senior team members.
- Work closely with experienced practitioners and consultants while building your confidence and technical ability.
What we’re looking for:
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) with Level 3 qualification.
- Current NMC or HCPC registration.
- Previous experience working within a hospital theatre environment.
- Experience in Scrub, Anaesthetics, or Recovery is welcomed, with a willingness to develop further skills.
- A motivated and proactive team player who is eager to learn and develop within a supportive theatre team.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient safety and high standards of care.
