What you’ll be doing
Provide professional and operational leadership to the theatre teams, ensuring high standards of patient care.
Maintain a visible clinical presence, supporting the team as a scrub practitioner, anaesthetic practitioner, circulating practitioner, or recovery practitioner.
Oversee the day-to-day running of multiple operating theatres, maximising efficiency and utilisation.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and promote a culture of safety, openness, and continuous learning.
What we’re looking for
Registered Nurse (Adult) or Operating Department Practitioner with current NMC or HCPC registration.
Significant perioperative experience and previous experience managing theatres or leading theatre teams.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to balance operational management responsibilities with direct clinical care.
Knowledge of Care Quality Commission standards, WHO Surgical Safety Checklist, and infection prevention and control standards.
