Theatre Manager

What you’ll be doing

• Provide professional and operational leadership to the theatre teams, ensuring high standards of patient care.

• Maintain a visible clinical presence, supporting the team as a scrub practitioner, anaesthetic practitioner, circulating practitioner, or recovery practitioner.

• Oversee the day-to-day running of multiple operating theatres, maximising efficiency and utilisation.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and promote a culture of safety, openness, and continuous learning.

What we’re looking for

• Registered Nurse (Adult) or Operating Department Practitioner with current NMC or HCPC registration.

• Significant perioperative experience and previous experience managing and leading theatre teams.

• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to balance operational management responsibilities with direct clinical care.

• Knowledge of Care Quality Commission standards, WHO Surgical Safety Checklist, and infection prevention and control standards.
