What you'll be doing
- Deliver safe, effective, and evidence-based nursing care.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and colleagues.
- Provide clinical leadership and support to the nursing team during shifts.
- Supervise, mentor, and support junior colleagues and students.
- Contribute to clinical governance, audits, and service improvement initiatives.
- Promote high standards of patient safety and quality of care.
What we're looking for
- Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Relevant post-registration clinical experience.
- Experience within an acute, surgical, or similarly fast-paced clinical environment.
- Previous experience supporting or leading colleagues.
- Commitment to continuing professional development.
- Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts where required.
