Key duties and responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services, including MRI, CT, and X-ray examinations.
• Ensure patient safety and adhere to MRI safety protocols and MHRA guidelines.
• Supervise and train junior staff and assistants, fostering their development.
• Collaborate with clinical teams, consultants, and radiologists to provide integrated care.
• Maintain high standards of image quality and patient care, following departmental guidelines.

Skills and experience

• Diploma of College of Radiographers/BSc Radiography or equivalent.
• HCPC registered.
• Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience.
• Excellent understanding of radiographic and imaging procedures.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Private healthcare experience and teaching experience are desirable but not essential.
