What You’ll Be Doing:
- Ensure IPC is integrated into all hospital activities and new business initiatives.
- Develop and implement an annual IPC programme in line with national standards.
- Lead and train staff in IPC practices, ensuring compliance with mandatory training.
- Collaborate with the local Infection Control Doctor to manage infection risks and conduct surveillance programmes.
What We’re Looking For:
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
- Postgraduate qualification in IPC (PGCert minimum) or working towards it.
- Specialist knowledge in IPC and experience in risk assessment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to deliver training and feedback effectively.
