Infection, Prevention & Control Lead (RGN)

What You’ll Be Doing:  

• Ensure IPC is integrated into all hospital activities and new business initiatives.
• Develop and implement an annual IPC programme in line with national standards.
• Lead and train staff in IPC practices, ensuring compliance with mandatory training.
• Collaborate with the local Infection Control Doctor to manage infection risks and conduct surveillance programmes.

What We’re Looking For:

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Postgraduate qualification in IPC (PGCert minimum) or working towards it.
• Specialist knowledge in IPC and experience in risk assessment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to deliver training and feedback effectively.
