What you’ll be doing:

• Provide overall leadership, management and strategic direction for all hospital operations.
• Ensure the delivery of safe, effective and high-quality clinical services.
• Take full accountability for operational, financial and commercial performance, including EBITDA delivery and revenue growth.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver outstanding patient outcomes and service excellence.
• Drive operational efficiency, patient flow, theatre utilisation and productivity improvements.
• Maintain full regulatory compliance and act as Registered Manager with the relevant authority.
• Lead governance, audit, quality improvement and patient safety frameworks.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with consultants, commissioners and external stakeholders.
• Support the continued growth of private healthcare services and wider business development initiatives.
• Lead the hospital through a major future redevelopment and transition programme.
• Foster a positive, high-performing and collaborative culture focused on staff engagement and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to wider strategic projects and leadership initiatives across the organisation.

What we’re looking for:

• Extensive Hospital Director-level experience within the independent healthcare sector.
• Proven track record of delivering operational, financial and clinical performance within a hospital environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing complex budgets and delivering EBITDA targets.
• Demonstrable experience leading service development, transformation and quality improvement programmes.
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulation, governance and compliance standards.
• Experience leading large multidisciplinary teams across clinical and non-clinical functions.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Confident, credible and resilient leadership style with strong communication abilities.
• Degree or recognised management qualification desirable.
