Well Wednesday with Jessica - Homemade Hummus Bites

Another week, another Well Wednesday in the Stroud Resourcing office, and after a summer of sweet (but surprisingly good for us) snacks, Jessica decided to switch things up a little with some homemade hummus and crunchy crackers for a savoury mid-morning bite.

If you fancy having a go at making this herby, citrusy hummus, it only takes a few minutes and a handful of ingredients and makes the perfect cure for the 11 o’clock munchies. Check out the recipe below:

Ingredients

Method

1. Drain the chickpeas, but don’t rinse them

2. Drop the chickpeas, tahini, juice of ½ lemon, garlic, salt, in a food processor and pulse, adding olive oil as you go until you get the right consistency – you don’t want it perfectly smooth!

3. Taste and add salt/tahini, as necessary.

4. Throw in the basil (stalks and all) and sundried tomatoes. Pulse again until these are blended in

5. Serve with your favourite snacks
