1.5 million people have had a free blood pressure check during the annual Know Your Numbers! Week, which is the UK’s biggest blood pressure testing and awareness event. Normally, hundreds of Pressure Stations across the UK offer free blood pressure checks in the community, but due to social distancing measures, these will not be available this year
Instead, Blood Pressure UK are encouraging people to be more aware of ‘the hidden pandemic of high blood pressure’ and to make 2021 the year of home blood pressure monitoring.
