Stroud Resourcing headed down to ASK Italian in York to celebrate our recent quarter with plenty of food and drinks!
We introduced our Values and Recognition Board which is designed to recognise colleagues for outstanding achievements and behaviour. For example, if a colleague has demonstrated one of Stroud’s values, we present them with a values card to show how much we appreciate their contribution to not just the company but to the team. These cards are then displayed on the Values Board for all to see!
We also introduced our chosen Charity of the Year – Macmillan. We were delighted to have Sarah from Macmillan talk to us about the history behind this charity and the numerous ways to fundraise. Andrew and Hannah invested a lot time in creating the charity board upstairs in our office so that we can track monthly progress to our fundraising target of £5000!
Part way through our afternoon lunch, the team were given an activity Apprentice style and each team member was given an Alan Sugar mask to add to the aesthetics of this challenge! All money raised in this challenge was donated to Macmillan.
After working up an appetite, we tucked into delicious Italian food whilst reflecting on our highlights from the recent quarter which was delivered through presentations and a slideshow - there were plenty of humorous photographs from our antics in the office!
Jessica was awarded employee of the quarter and was gifted a TM Lewin voucher worth £250! Our colleagues feel that Jessica has demonstrated great ethical value through her approach to clients and candidates, she is extremely polite and professional and very precise with her pitches and conversations whilst still providing a high-quality service. Well done, Jessica!
After our meal, the team carried on with celebrations late into the evening!
