A Day at the Races!

What better way to celebrate a fantastic year for stroud than at York races.

On Friday 13th June, we took the entire team to York Races, not just to enjoy a day out in the sun, but to celebrate a huge milestone: we smashed our annual target with two months still to go, and we’ve built great momentum for our next financial year!

It wasn’t just about numbers. It was about acknowledging the effort, energy, and collaboration that got us there.

Before we the races however, we all got suited and booted to rendezvous at Jo and Guys for a garden party. After a few drinks, an insight at Stroud’s yearly achievements and a look into the day ahead, we set off for a lovely stroll to the racecourse.

It seems luck was on our side that day, we secured a fantastic table in the sun. Additionally, not only did some of us win on the races, but it also was one of the hottest days of the year so far! We enjoyed some food, drinks and the blazing sun while we celebrated what a fantastic year the team has had.

Of course, big wins deserve big celebrations. But what makes us proud is that we don’t wait for performance spikes to bring our team together. Every month and every quarter, regardless of performance, we invest in team away days.

It reached 5pm and the final race of the day was finished, but our celebrations didn’t stop there. We all made our way to the Churchill hotel to sit in the shade and enjoy some evening food and drinks to finish off the day.
