After a few bakery-themed well Wednesday recipes in August, Charlotte changed it up this week with refreshing fruit salad bowls. These sweet healthy treats make up three of your Five-a-Day and are ideal for a mid-afternoon snack in the late-summer heat.
You can use whatever fruit is your favourite; Charlotte served up mandarin, grape and strawberry, with a dollop of high-protein yoghurt and sprinkling of chocolate for good measure. Even our office dog Hugo wanted a taste!
Recipe (serves 6):
Ingredients:
2 fresh mandarins
200g strawberries
200g grapes
6 lg tablespoons yoghurt
Method:
Simply portion the fruit into bowls, scoop the yoghurt on, garnish with a little chocolate if you wish, and serve!
