Lead Cardiac Physiologist Echo

Are you an experienced Lead Cardiac Physiologist (Echoes) or an ambitious Senior Cardiac Physiologist seeking a challenge in London? Stroud Resourcing is working with an award-winning healthcare provider to find a Lead Cardiac Physiologist (Echoes) to join their welcoming and dedicated team. This role comes with a generous salary of Up to £52,250 and excellent benefits. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours across Monday-Friday. No on-call, no nights and no weekends!
 
It’s an exciting time to be joining this flagship London hospital. They have a busy, well-equipped theatre department consisting of 5 operating theatres and brand-new endoscopy suite alongside 120 beds, a level 3 intensive care unit, emergency centre, physiotherapy & diagnostics. They offer a variety of surgical services including complex spinal surgery, orthopaedics, ophthalmology, ENT, gynaecology, glaucoma, weight loss surgery & more. They are proud to have a Good CQC rating and high levels of patient satisfaction.
 
As the Lead for Cardiac Physiology, you can expect to:

• Demonstrate highly developed knowledge and skills in a broad range of cardiology investigation, perform a wide range complex or advanced procedures including, coronary angiography, angioplasty, pacemaker and ICD implantation and electrophysiology, when trained to do so.
• Mentor and support Senior Physiologists with their learning and advising on cases as necessary.
• Provide administrative support to the department manager and lead the cardiac rhythm management service efficiently and effectively, ensuring the smooth running of a quality invasive physiology and pacing service to patients.
• Work with the Cardiac Manager to support the development of the service.

To apply for this Lead Cardiac Physiologist role, you will need to be an experienced RCCP registered Cardiac Physiologist with previous experience working within echocardiograms/pacing. Prior experience as a Lead Cardiac Physiologist is desirable but we also welcome applications from experienced Senior Cardiac Physiologists looking to step up into their first management position. Some experience with guiding and managing teams of physiologists is essential.
