Celebrating success is one of the most important things about working at Stroud Resourcing. A weekly meeting held on Friday lets us share important developments and track the position of the business against its targets. The rest of the afternoon is then spent celebrating success, and depending on how the company has performed against its targets the activities can range from pizza and beers in the office to meals out and more. There was a lot to praise at the meeting on the 7th of January – the new graduate intake had successfully validated their knowledge and training from their first few weeks of work and the existing team had new placements and retainers to toast.
To mark these successes the company was treated to an afternoon out at the new Everyman cinema to watch Molly’s Game (a film that has its own success to celebrate). With beers and honeycomb bites in tow the team spent the afternoon on the cosy sofas enjoying the tale of the former Olympic skier who turned her hand to run the most exclusive high-stakes poker games the world had ever seen. Two hours later and a few pounds heavier, we went our separate ways for the weekend, the successes of the previous week cemented in each of our minds, ready to channel to hit the ground running come Monday morning.
